The motel is always spotlessly clean. The bed is very comfortable. We were served a delicious dinner in the Restaurant. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. We will be definitely staying here again.

Lovely motel with 1970’s charm. Loved the riverfront room with the most beautiful friendly ducks on earth. Nothing I would change about our one night stay. Breakfast was delicious. 10/10 and I’ll definitely book with them again if ever back in Hobart. Will recommend to family and friends as well.

Can, I just say thank you very much for a lovely meal on Christmas Eve 2025. The staff were wonderful and the food was lovely. My family and I had a ball. On top of this finding the Connect 4 game just added to the night. The young ones and I had a ball challenging each other whilst we waited for our meals. Over all we loved it, so thank you very much to all at Riverfront restaurant.

If you want to experience the classic Australian true to the land style MOTEL? This is the place to stay. Beautifullly well looked after Motel rooms at the river overlooking MONA. Lots of green areas as well as parking. Great breakfast, bar and dinner with large serves and affordable pricing. Looking forward to my next stay at the River front.

Riverfront Motel was a wonderful place to stay. The staff kindly accommodated our physical requirement to be on the ground floor, and we had a cabin which overlooked the Derwent River. The grounds were spacious (8 acres) and immaculate, as was the room. We used the order-in meal service, and our pizza arrived hot and in good time. Our thanks to all the staff for being friendly and helpful, and we would certainly stay again.

Great spot, extremely friendly and efficient staff. Onsite restaurant served lovely meals and afforded a reasonable variety. The rooms were clean, comfy and well equipped.The views of the well maintained surrounds were complimented by the river to offer a great experience.
